1 About Fixtrd

Fixtrd is a sports matchmaking platform that connects:

• Teams — grassroots and amateur sports teams who need to find fixture opponents (Team Mode)
• Players — individuals looking for opponents in individual sports such as padel, darts, squash, snooker, badminton, golf, table tennis, boxing and more (Player Mode)

🛡️ Age Requirements & Junior Profiles

This section is critical. Please read carefully before using Fixtrd with or for under-18s.

Adult accounts (18+):

To create an Adult or Veterans account on Fixtrd you must be at least 18 years of age.

Junior accounts (Under 18):

Junior profiles for sports teams and players aged Under 7s through Under 18s are supported on Fixtrd under the following strict conditions:

• A junior profile must be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or authorised club official who is at least 18 years old
• The responsible adult accepts these Terms on behalf of the junior and accepts full responsibility for the profile
• Junior profiles are strictly separated from adult profiles — juniors can only see other juniors and adults can never see junior profiles
• Age group matching is enforced — a team registered as Under 10s will only be matched with Under 9s, Under 10s and Under 11s
• Fixtrd is not responsible for verifying the identity or age of users — this responsibility lies with the account holder

Age verification:

By selecting an age group on Fixtrd, the account holder confirms the accuracy of that information. Misrepresenting the age group of a team or player is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

Safeguarding:

Clubs and organisations using Fixtrd for junior teams are responsible for ensuring compliance with their sport's safeguarding policies (e.g. FA Safeguarding, Sport England guidelines). Fixtrd's technical separation of junior and adult profiles is an additional measure and is not a substitute for proper safeguarding practices.

2 Eligibility

To use Fixtrd you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age to create an adult account (or a parent/guardian creating a junior profile)
• Be acting on behalf of a legitimate sports team, club, or as an individual sports player
• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your profile
• Have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your team or club
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

3 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and all activity under your account.

Notify us immediately at info@fixtrd.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts found to have misrepresented age groups or mode of use.

4 Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent profile information
• Misrepresent the age group of a junior team or player
• Attempt to contact junior profiles from an adult account or vice versa
• Harass, abuse or threaten other users
• Submit false ratings, no-show reports or reviews
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than finding sports opponents
• Post content that is offensive, discriminatory, illegal or inappropriate for a sporting context
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform

5 Ratings, Reviews & No-Show Reporting

Fixtrd's rating system allows users to rate each other after games on punctuality, sportsmanship and reliability. No-show reports can be submitted when a confirmed opponent fails to appear.

Accuracy:

You must only submit ratings and reports that accurately reflect your genuine experience. False, malicious or retaliatory ratings are a breach of these Terms.

Display:

Ratings and trust badges are displayed publicly on profiles to all users. We reserve the right to remove ratings that are found to be false, abusive or in breach of these Terms following investigation.

Disputes:

If you believe a rating or no-show report submitted about you is inaccurate, contact info@fixtrd.app within 30 days. We will investigate and respond within 14 days.

Defamation:

Written review comments must not be defamatory, harassing or discriminatory. We reserve the right to remove any review that breaches this requirement.

6 Fixture & Game Matching

Fixtrd facilitates connections between teams and individual players but does not guarantee you will find an opponent, or that matched opponents will honour confirmed games.

The arrangement, agreement and fulfilment of fixtures and games is entirely between the users involved. Fixtrd is not a party to any fixture or game agreement and accepts no liability for cancelled, disputed or unsatisfactory games.

Users must arrange their own insurance, venue bookings and compliance with their governing body's rules.

7 Gender Matching

Fixtrd allows users to set a gender category (Men's, Women's or Mixed) and a gender preference for matching. These settings are self-declared and not verified.

Fixtrd is committed to inclusive sport and does not discriminate on the basis of gender. Gender matching preferences are provided as a courtesy feature to reflect how sports are commonly organised.

8 Subscription & Payments

Pricing:

• Free — 5 swipes/day, 3 active conversations
• Pro — £4.99/month — unlimited swipes, messaging & priority listing
• Club — £14.99/month — up to 5 team profiles & club dashboard

Payment methods:

Payments are processed via Stripe (web), Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Cancellation & refunds:

Cancel anytime through your device subscription settings or at info@fixtrd.app. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods except where required by law (including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — 14-day cooling off period for new subscriptions).

Price changes:

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice to your registered email address.

9 Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in Fixtrd — including the app, website, logo, design, custom icons and software — belongs to Fixtrd Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works without our written permission.

The Fixtrd name, logo and brand are trademarks of Fixtrd Ltd.

10 Disclaimer of Warranties

Fixtrd is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee that sports connections will result in a game being played.

11 Limitation of Liability

Fixtrd Ltd shall not be liable for: cancelled fixtures or games, travel costs incurred, injuries arising from games arranged through the platform, data loss, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

12 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, in particular any provisions relating to age misrepresentation or junior safeguarding.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting info@fixtrd.app. Junior profile data will be deleted within 72 hours of termination request.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Fixtrd after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14 Data Protection

Your use of Fixtrd is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at fixtrd.app/privacy.html. Fixtrd Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller and complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

15 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
